Just purchased PES 6 - What mods to download and where?

As I am fed up with PES 2009, I have purchased PES 6 which should be delivered in a few days.

What are THE patches I need and where can I get them from?

Lol. I would say that 300+ stadiums is the last thing you need, patch-wise. That's just insane. Just visit the PES6 forum section and you'll see lots of stuff. Just download it and see what you like best :) You def. want some nice scoreboards :)
 
Thanks Jonny, just what I was looking for.

I am interested in the offline play too by the way. Something just feels "wrong" in PES 2009 to me.

Are there any "Super" Patches for PES 6?

Ofcours there are just search through the forums there are tons.
Although I would recommend you play online you'll be impressed because there's absolutely no lag there!PES 6 is 100% smooth online:D PES 2008 65% online playable, where as PES 2009 is kind of like 80%-90% playable depending on how good you and your opponent connection is.
 
Your such an arse mate, PES 2009 is better,i don't understand all these people playing the older games when the newer ones are better. Although it might not be a massive improvement (althoguh i think it is), it's still better than 6 and 2008.

People aren't an 'arse' just because they prefer one game over another.

PES 09 is better in your opinion but that doesn't make evryone's view on the game incorrect.

You prefer PES 09, I prefer PES 6... So I gues we're both happy..
 
Yup they are i suppose. but they will quit this year im sure.
And people have there preference. when pes6 came out allot of people said it was shit. it didnt make sense. the freekicks were to hard. etc. but now you hear people say its the best game....
 
Is there anyone still playing PES6 online? I might have to dust off my copy, it was the best version IMHO.
 
There's around 200-300 every night in the french servers on PES6 and about the same of a Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

This is me, more or less. I got disappointed when I first played PES6, even if I never said it was shit.
It gave me such a different sensation, a strange feeling, compared to PES5.. Then I got used to it and it soon became more comfortable than PES5 itself.

That's why I still make stuff for PES6 now and then: because it took me some time to get used to the way it played, but I didn't give up because I believed in it and it has been worth. This didn't happen with PES2008 and I don't see it happen with PES2009 either, unfortunately.

Sometimes, newer just doesn't mean better.

Sad but true, "entertainment-wise" I feel FIFA is this season's football game.. And that's why I'll play both FIFA09 and PES6. I can't stand playing PES2009 only because "it's the newest version", I'm not that kind of user that gets impressed by the "oh, it's new" thing.. I'm happy with PES6 the same way I'm happy with XP, with Office 2003, with Virtual DJ v.1 and with Nero 6.

To answer your original question. I still have original copy of the Superpatch that was released for PES6 also have copies of K-patch 1.0 and 2.0 I could upload them, might take a while though. I also have screen that I have collected myself that include Keeley Hazell in Premiership kits.... nice thing to occupy your time... Anyway give me a shout if you want any of these...also have all the correct kits and stadiums and adboards for the 06/07 season... sorry I don't update! Hope this helps!

Just updated the links for everything there in my previous post. That is the original superpatch and the page on the forum for the K-Patch and also the link for the Keeley Screens... If you want more boots and stadiums and things like that give me a shout and I can upload my Kitserver but its kinda big and might take a while to get up online!

If you dont mind uploading your Kitserver, even better although I appreciate it would be time consuming and hammer your internet connection for a while.
 
Hey just wanting to check what service works for you. If I upload to filefront would that work for you? Or are you in a part of the world where you can only use rapidshare or megaupload or something? Sorry its taken me so long to get organised. Did you download the original superpatch and stuff? Its worth getting as that was what I started with and build up. Just so you can choose what you want to use etc. I would recomend you download the k_patch also. Well tell me what works for you and I will try and upload to that.
