Used to love it when it was Davies/Quentin, sort of lost interest when she left. I have just watched the 2 hour Xmas special though, and loved it :)).

Did anyone else watch it?

It was really good and well thought out as always,
I knew from the start that the room wasn't where they really thought it was in the house. Though I just thought it was underneath where they thought it was. The water tank and bath mechanism was genius, didn't see that coming at all! I thought it was going to be something to do with the ceiling and the dead flies dropping out.

I'm not quite sure about the painting though - what was the significance of it? And why didn't the woman save the man in the fire rather than the painting?

Yeah I watched the special last night with me dad and we both thought it was class. The magician he works with is comedy gold and the whole 3D porn thing in this special was typical of him.

I didn't click that the room would be in a different part of the house but I thought that something was a bit dodgy about it all as that Gessler guy looked proper shifty from the off, I guess it was that goatee that did it.

I don't think that the painting actually had any significance other than what the old dear thought about it. It was pretty fucking ugly though I know that much
 
Yeah I didn't know it was on until like the day before where I heard an ad on the radio for it!
 
TBH that's the first one I have ever watched just about all the way through, it was fun in places but does he always explain everything as if you are a child with learning difficulties...
It's a bit like American stuff where they have to explain everything to the nth degree...
 
I was talking about how good this used to be at work the other day and they all looked at me like I was mad so it's good to see I'm not alone. I missed the special though.

It will be available on the iPlayer through the BBC website or you can find it another way if you really want to see it ;)
 
Watched it yesterday, wife and I really enjoyed it, despite the blonde chick sounding as if she's from Leeds they seemed to have a decent rapport, would like to see a proper season with the two of them. Also funny to see the IT Crowd chick, especially in her skivvies, not as hot as I thought when seeing her in her IT Crowd
business suit though ;)

Ouch :(( not that flattering of a pic is it - she looks totally hot in the IT Crowd...

Filming is due to begin on a new 90-minute special episode later this month which is scheduled to air next Easter!!
