I've upgraded to 4gb or ram and now PES2008 demo wont play

it says that my computer does not meet the minimum specifications necessary to run this software. im also running vista

c2d @3.2ghz
ati 2900xt 512mb
4gb ram @800mhz
vista 64 ultimate

game was working fine before.

has anyone else had this issue?

Sounds like loads of people are having problems with 4GB of ram and windows vista.
Prob down to 32bit operating system restrictions only allowing you to have 3GB.
You will prob have to remove a gig of ram to get the game working properly.

He has the 64 bit version. I would reccomend upgrading to XP

Sorry didnt read the 64bit thing.
It is probably down to you running 64 bit windows and Konami being lazy when it comes to optimizing.

the game doesnt like 4gb Ram or x64 OS's I guess, dont know why but when i got 4gb installed i cant play it on either my XP x64 or x32 os but when i take out 2gb it works fine on the x32(x64 still doesnt work), I think companies are to lazy to make demos x64 compatible, theres only been 1 lately that worked on my XP x64 and that was COD3, others like Fm2008, Unreal tournament 3 and pes 2008 all install but wount run

The demo of Unreal Tournament 3 runs fine on my Vista Ultimate 64bit system with 4 GB RAM. And so do all my other games. Haven't checked the PES2008 demo, though.

well i hope they sort this out on the full game i would hate to buy the bloody game only to remove a stick or two of ram everytime i want to play!!!

I play perfectly on WINDOWS VISTA X64 ULTIMATE and PES 2008 demo...
I have nvidia AGP 8x geforce 6800 ULTRA 256MB
and 3gb of RAM...

TRy to install latest drivers x64 for your GPU card...
Try to install on vista x64, directX9c from PES6 dvd...

yes but thats with 3gb ram, it wount start with 4gb, ive got that problem myself and read loads of posts where others state that same problem aswell

Instruction_:
1. Copy PES-DVD on HD
2. Change MSI File with the MSI File from this .rar.
3. Install.
