That all games allow you to save at any point you want.

PC gamers for years have had the ability to quick save in most games, now I want all console's to have this as well. After using the PSP-Go and it's pause and save at any point feature, I want to be able to pause and save my games mid game, mid race, mid match, mid inning's, mid quarter, mid period, whenever or whatever I want, forget fooking cloud saves, give me anytime saves!!!!!!!

Is it that hard to ask? I was playing Blitz : The League the other night and my gf came in from work, I was up by a couple TD's and had to turn the game off because I dont have the chance to save even at the end of a quarter. Now if I could pause and save, next time I get a spare 5 minutes to continue that game I could rather than have to re-start at 0v0.

Come on EA, 2K, MGS, Sony, Activision, STEP IT UP AND DO IT!

It's odd that it's not been done before. The only reason people are giving in this office are that it'd make games too easy, but you have a point about the American football-type games.

It's better specially for people with not much time on their hands. Playing an hr or 2 straight isn't something easy for some people.

I just think it's a feature that would be handy for certain games, I doubt I would use it for every title. Just it's one feature from the PSP-Go I'd like to see in all consoles. Maybe it's something the console manufacturers could put in with an update.

I always use it on my Go, I dont even back out of a game to save unless I know I will playing a different game the next time I'll be on the Go. I just pause and save and know within seconds the next time I pick up my Go I will be playing the game again.

Hmmmm as in the case of demons soul's and a hell of a lot of games it adds to the pacing and adds to the concept of anticipation, i'm not going to rush through this and potential die because i know i can just load it back up from 20 seconds ago. I don't think most devs would allow that anyway because it'd make their campaigns much shorter. Games like Fallout allow you to save whenever because if you die you don't go back to a checkpoint.

In your sports game example maybe the could put in the ability to save at half time or after each quarter but i don't think the AI would react well to being saved in the middle of play and then being loaded back up again.
