I beleive people tend to mix the ability to defend with the will to defend. Italian teams are often scorned for having the ability to defend, because of that people immediately tend to label them as boring.

You get the same here in the Netherlands nowadays: PSV is being blamed for being able to defend, they are called a defensive team now... Just because they don't play the childish crippeled Ajax football.



Anyway I'd take any serie A match over the pinball epl football anyday.

I simply don't see productive or appealing football from them. It's my view of things.

And as said all leagues have their crap teams and crap games!
