It has to be a player who is playing at PRESENT. No-one from the past.

Cristiano Ronaldo, because he is the best player in the world. :lol:

(And I think he would be a slight improvement on Lee Bowyer)
 
Kun Aguero. He would form a deadly partnership with Torres. He is fast and agile, and would the perfect supporting striker for Torres, playing off him, running the channels.

or

Dani Alves. Best right back in the world. He would run all day on the right wing causing havoc. Also delivers deadly crosses in. No right back in the EPL would come even close to him IMO. Liverpool would have an attacking thread that no other club would.

Can I have them both, please? Ah well, who cares, we have Voronin and Riise :)
 
Tough one. Either a great defender or someone with great creativity, a playmaker. The latter preferably. Let's say... Pirlo :). He'd solve the central midfielder void we have at the moment and he'd also solve the creativity problems, besides being one of the best players out there.

If only.
 
Messi, but they would still be relegation battlers...so maybe i should say Messi and a brick wall in the goal...

Thats my dream.
Why? Because he is simply the best! And Benfica wants a playmaker to replace the "old boy" Rui Costa.
 
Kaka, one of the best players in the world and probably one of the nicest on and off the field no one can say they dislike Kaka or anything bad about him :)
 
He means Paul Dalglish, free agent at the moment. ;)

As for my choice it has to be Kaká, Messi or Juan Román Riquelme preferably Kaká because he belongs to Jesus. :mryellow:

United have the best player in the world at the moment and enough attacking talent so I would love to see a brilliant right-back at the club so I'd have to go for the brilliant Daniel Alves.

He can come out of retirement in our time of need. Wouldn't mind his daughter running out at Anfield either!
 
I wouldn't mind a natural goalscorer too, someone like Huntelaar or Inzaghi would be perfect! :)
 
Karim Benzema to Anfield. Strong, fast,determined, good technique and maybe built for the physical nature of the English game.
