How to make PES2011 run fluid?

Hi,
I can't seem to understand. My computer has met the minimum specs but yet it is running quite slow at the 16:9 setting (wide screen). I have given up playing at this setting. I have tried to play the game at 4:3 as the speed is normal but the players looks too compressed and very unrealistic for my liking.
Then I started to play at Windows Mode at 4:3. The players do not look compressed at the window mode and also the speed is much better than the full screen mode. Unfortunately the game does not look fluid at this mode. Sometimes the action looks jerky. I am no computer expert and hope someone can advise me. I wondering whether it the refresh rate that is causing the jerky movement. How do we adjust the refresh rate or the frame rate? How can we ensure that the action always looks smooth?
Advice appreciated.

Post system spec & graphic card then we can try.

play @ your native resolution and native screen refresh rate at this resolution

turn on vsync, turn off frameskip(for offline)

and try medium details


disable all 3rd party gfx tools like ATT or nhancer fot nvidia etc.
for troubleshooting, my pes runs better w/o ATT running (important to start control panel and save settings there so it overrides the ATT in registry)
install new drivers for your gfx card (read guru3d how to do it correctly)

so i cant find a thread for my issue i post it here:

i reinstalled pes 011, patched it directly with patch 1.03(as it has all updates in there) and loaded up the dlc ingame once
it said 12. october update

if i launch the game it says dlc is 2.0

so i ask myself now if the game has downloaded all the dlc at once including the 24. nov. update(cursor "fix" etc.) and the others ?

is there a way to check that somehow or just trust konami ?

You can check if you can turn on/off the names over players heads. That was suppose to be fixed in the latest update.

hello back after a rest with pes 2011, at the moment i need everyones attention please, something has dramatically happened to my gameplay, no i did not do anything, i would like to ask everyone here but everyone has anybody realised that the gameplay has changed ??? well on my side i don't know what the heck happen but the gameplay and palyer movements have strangely improved and im actually getting some decent gameplay, please this is really important has anyone realised a sudden change in the gameplay, my second though would be that konami added some fixes without notifying, and that irritating screen during replay that blue thing that goes across the creen has been reduced and is not always in motion suring short replays i mean you can quickly start your game please
i need this feedback

Had a read of a few topics on here, trying various suggested things with my CCC for my HD4570.

I could run the game perfectly fine in fullscreen with no lag when it first came out. I've now cleaned out a lot of junk not related to PES, done a defrag and then tried the game and it's stuttering after around 10 minutes of play. Tried high, medium & low settings and it happens in all. Got my resolution set to my desktop setting. Tried around 15 different setups in CCC and RadeonPro, mostly to lower quality from what it was. Nothing seems to make a difference.

The best I can manage is when on low detail, native res, vsync on, frameskip off. It's starting to really peck my head, as my laptop is without a doubt in a better condition now than last year.
