I only saw this because of a advert during football last week other than that i aint heard anything all all about it

But after checking some videos on youtube it looks pretty good. It look more like Battlefield then COD and its first review got 9/10 so here's hoping we have a new FPS to play that aint shitty Black Ops

MP sound pretty good with it starting slow with drones and stuff then people building up points to start letting out the tanks, choppers ect for "escalating intensity"

MP stuff

I've read a few impressions from people who've played it and they've, basically, said it's standard generic shit.

Only problem with the upgrading to tanks/choppers etc is if you're a noob picking the game up a few weeks after release your drones are going to get the shit stomped out of them with everyone flying around in choppers and driving over you in tanks.

I think the MP looks fun though. Looks like a cross between MAG & Bad Company.

Edge are fucking wankers. Not because the game is good, just in general they seem to be a bunch of arrogant twats.

Amen to that. They seem to like giving lower scores than other magazines just to be different.

That's a crazily short time for a single player game. I thought Killzone 3 was bad, I finished that in one evening, but at least it took me all evening. Start the game at 7pm and you're done by just 11? WTF.

I'd get this for the MP though, but I've heard such different views on that side of the game. Some say it's amazing, others say it's crap. Without any kind of demo/beta, I'm not sure. I don't want another Medal of Honor on my hands. Man I hated the MP in that.

I "bought" game from certain website, and because there's only single player, I would say that it's not in the range of Bad Company 2 or Black Ops definitely but not bad way to kill 4 or 5 hours of your life. Nothing spectacular but not that bad. I don't know why, but it remindes of Frontlines Fuel of War.

Played and finished it in one sitting. It was ok but looked like it was a really old game with nothing new. Does anyone know if The other guy in the game is Kyles dad (from Southpark)? Really sounded like him and it did my head in.

I like to think Edge just aren't scared to give lower scores. 99% of other reviewers use 6 or even 7/10s to imply a bad game and very rarely go lower. I mean come on you've got a scale of 1-10 to judge here so why do 90% of review scores fall into the 6-9 bracket. No doubt about the fact that they're pretentious though and do it to be different but other reviewers should follow the same structure. The only thing i really hear Edge getting stick for though was giving Bayonetta a 10.

Eurogamer are the only other reliable source for me but i can tell when they end up giving games scores based on the title rather than the qualities of it.

Anyway i haven't played Homefront but i hear it's a bit rubbish. It even sparked an article on Eurogamer saying that mid-level games like Homefront should stop treating themselves like it's an AAA title and sell the game for less money so that more people give it a chance and they themselves don't fail when their overly grand expectations aren't met or something. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-03-19-squeezed-middle-article

I know this is way old, and funnily I was thinking about it, but how weird is the storyline.

Set in 2013 1 year after the death of Kim Jung-II and Kim Jun-hu taken over.

The guy just died the other day.

I wonder....................................................... :D :p
