Help--Resolution Problem

My game's graffics are SHIT!

And the game only allows up to 720, 480 resolution on LOW! WTF?

I have an nvidia 6600, so while not great, its more than good enough for this game.

How can I up the resolution and change it to medium/high?

I've got GF6600GT, 1GB ram and 2.2GHz cpu and the game allows me to choose max 1024x768 in full screen mode or max 1280x720 in window mode (low/med/high details).
