Hi.. :D

My good friend has moved to Canada and is trying to play Pro Evo 2008 on his English (PAL) PS3 online but is having problems connecing!? :(

The error message "unable to transmit using udp port 5730" appears when he tries to go on the 'Network' option.. :cry:

The weird thing is.. he can play Call Of Duty 4 online with no problems??? #-o

He has a wired (ethernet) connection.. aswell as a wireless connection via his wireless router.. and niether work!? ](*,)

I heard somewhere that you need to do something with the ports but have no idea how to do anything like that! 8-[

If anyone can help me out i would VERY much appreciate it! ;-)

He needs to open UDP port 5730 to allow the game to transmit data freely.

How he does that all depends on what router he has, the documentation for that should tell him how to open ports (port forward) to allow the game to communicate freely.
Alternatively check out www.portforward.com for a site that should also help. :)

Only 6 months later. I'm good! :lol:
