Graphic card for Crysis 2

Re: Graphic card for Cryses 2

Nvidia 560 or ATI 6870 would be good and both can be had for £120 mark.

Or get a 5870 from ebay for about £100 as they are actually faster than the 6870.

Or if your talking cheap then for about £60 get a 4870 that will run Crysis 2 at the resolution you require and play everything else at that resolution.

oh this sounds great, I do play everything at that resolution, it can play everything at 1600x900 resolution, preferably on high setting, so does that 5870 or 48070 run most of the latest games on my demands, I really care about the Call of Duty and Assassin's creed games, also Need for speed
I don't live in the UK and I can't order online, this is why I want it as cheap as possible because a 100£ graphic card after shipment would turn to 200£ , I can afford 120£ but then it would be just too much

I would say go with bsmaff's first suggestion :

- AMD 6870, 5870 (faster than 6870 if you can find cheaper one),
- GTX 560.

Right above that budget range is gtx 560 ti and amd 6950 1gb/2gb.

You'll be happy with above solution, I had 5850 with 1600 x 900, i can almost push everything to the max :SMUG: . I still enjoy using it for my new 1080p monitor with decent setting too. But i would not go for lower vga than 5850 :P

As for crysis 2 you can check benchmark comparison below as i don't have the game :))

Note : don't forget using min. 550 watt power supply with very good quality

Thank you guys , I don't have an HD monitor and not planning to get one :P my max resolution is 1600x900 and I love to push sliders to max, I'll see with 5850 and 4850 and make comparison,
Thank you very much, you have no Idea how much you helped :)
