Full version vs demo 2

I dont know what your all going on about. Their is next to no difference. The keepers are alittle better on the full game and everything else is the same. Your seeing things.

what difficulty you playing at ? on top player, keepers are horrible.

Does anyone have the same issue that the players don't stay at their assigned positions? I have a lwf in my formation and always want him to stay wide. but for some reason, they always seem to drift to the center of the field after a while. any idea how I make them not do that?

I just cant stand the way how the ball is sticked to the feet... its just f** wrong -.- and the sound of the ball touch plays almost ten times in a second... its just unrealistic and impossible to touch the ball milion times in a second like in pes this thing destroys the game for me :(
sorry to say but fifa wins this year -.-

Wait? So is it almost ten times or is it a million times?

PES 2012 is horrible, try the free training mode and try practicing the dribbling and shooting and there you will realize how bad the animation is, there were a lot of dribbles you could do in PES6 but cant do anymore in 2012, even stuff like pushing the ball forward with L1 and R1 is removed, they are oversimplifying the game, removing a lot of tricks and player stats and other stuff, after 5 years they still fail to make a DECENT game, or even playable game, i dont want a perfect game, but i dont want a game that is this bad, and konami had a lot of time to make this right but they still keep failing, if you still have PES6, try practicing mode in PES6 and compare the fluidity of animation and the feeling of controlling the ball between both games and its obvious that PES6 is still superior.

And i want to ask everyone a honest question, is this the PES you expected after FIVE years on next generation console? is this it? Really?

I've had some really nice matches in this game, but I've also had some of the absolute worst PES-games I've ever had. Sludgy gameplay, some games are so incredibly slow, even though there's no apparent reason for it, the players just move like they have glue under their feet. Some games just ridiculously fast, for no apparent reason, it's not that the game is open and therefore fast, just that the players seem to move a lot faster than what they should.

Also, opponent attackers from crappy teams (like QPR and Norwich) suddenley have attacking players that can dribble your whole team as easy as they like, and score some insane goals (I know Taarabt is capable on his day, but this was with a guy called Mackie or something). The goalkeepers are shit beyond repair, it's embarrassing, I've started a new season with Spurs, and are recording all the goals I score and concede, and some of the ones I've conceded are just ridiculous. Looks like some of the "top goals" scored by people in FIFA, only with shit goalkeepers.

I don't know, the game is so schizofrenic. You can have a string of games that seem so good and realistic (even games you lose, yes), and then suddenley some shit script comes into play and just ruin the whole experience.

I seriously hope someone comes out with a gameplay fix of some sort soon.

Played several back to back games alternating between Demo 2 and full game - same teams, ground, match length, speed, camera, settings, normal player condition etc etc and I can easily tell that Demo 2 offers the more pleasurable playing experience.

The full game is faster, more rushed. The AI is super aggressive and the cheating script is more blatantly obvious. In Demo 2 you get a chance to build plays, send players on runs etc. The full game to me seems more arcadey, almost like a basketball game at times.

I shall be sticking to Demo 2 I'm afraid until Jenkey brings out a gameplay fix. :((

Funny that you should say that, as I was going to come in here and post something similar. I use to think it was me in recent years as no other game has me loving it one moment, then making me want to uninstall it ten minutes later. Every day it plays completely different than the last (for better or worse) It's absurd.

A few days ago I posted in the discussion thread on how I had breakthrough moment in 2012 as I experienced some of the best matches of football in any game. After that it was pure crap, it felt like a completely different game and I refused to touch it for a few days.

I just played a few matches and right now, the game feels like 2011 to me. :shiver: Maybe it's the PESedit patch? Do they alter player ratings and what not? Anyways, to get back on topic the full version is definitely different than demo 2. For one, I didn't have to put the gameplay speed to -1 on demo 2. That right there is a giveaway for me. The ball seems floaty, like the first demo, which is unfortunate. You seem to get bumped off the ball more often and the AI has reverted to back to being aggression whores.

I pray for the day a current-gen PES has me satisfied more often than not. I thought for sure that 2012 was going to be the year. I loved the demo's (especially the second one) and thought they were making the right strides. It just isn't happening for me at the moment. I swear that the demo's are better than the retail. This also seemed to be the case last year.
