Should I make the refereeing less strict?

You put up a poll about whether the ref should be less strict or not? I really respect and understand your flexibility toward all the players. You’re putting in the work, and I genuinely admire your creativity. But at least give us an option to adjust the ref’s strictness ourselves — just like the “ball distance from foot” feature.

I played a few games yesterday. I won't talk much about the gameplay because I think I was under speed fluctuations.

Playing again, the speed fluctuations have gone.
The gameplay remains true to your core, with the right pace.
I don't have much to add about problems. the gameplay is very good.

The game got a little easier, or less difficult, I believe due to the addition of CPU errors. They're missing more passes (3-star teams). I think it's good.
So I changed my game to Legendary. I won, drew, lost. Good feelings.

In my opinion, the foul system is great. Again, my game is set to Standard Referee.
Another setting for reference is that I use advanced defense.

There are no more than 5 fouls in total on average. For 7 minute games, it seems very good to me. Some fouls are questionable, but that's football, questionable fouls all the time.

I'm used to trying to play as manual football as possible, where I try to make accurate tackles with a single button press. I didn't have any red cards in today's games.

An opinion to Iljuventino. You've said that the foundation of your gameplay is that people should think before executing their actions. Regarding fouls, I think it should be the same. Of course, adjustments can still be made, but don't completely give in to opposing opinions... they will always exist. Keep your line as you have been.

Thank you, excellent gameplay. I could easily stay with it for a long time.

Is it just me or is it the case for everyone that all mods are up to date, the mod manager too, but in the mod manager the mods are marked as being made for the previous version?

EA is driving me crazy...

First off, I'd like to extend my sincere gratitude for your effort and for keeping this mod free. As a casual gamer, only able to play a couple of hours a week, using your mod makes a huge difference and significantly enhances the experience.

I won't provide detailed feedback, but I wanted to mention a few key observations:

- Excessive Red Cards: As many others have mentioned, the frequency of red cards feels far too high. In my last six games, I attempted five sliding tackles, three of which resulted in a straight red card. All of these challenges felt like they should have been a yellow card at most.
- CPU Avoids Crossing: I noticed there was not a single instance in which the CPU attempted a cross, even when they had plenty of space and it was the clear optimal attacking decision. The CPU consistently defaults to the standard in-game algorithm of just passing the ball back.

Thank you again for your work!

I gained a different perspective on fouls. I played three matches with Bayern in tournament mode, Champions League, and fouls and yellow cards all over the place. Almost every tackle. A very different result from what I had with Schalke and my career mode.
Strange situation, better defenders committing more fouls? Something's off with such different results.

I agree.

In terms of CPU offensive game I think we got a little step back. I'm feeling they are thinking a bit more.. less than 1.7 and more than 1.9.

ULTRA REALISTIC GAMEPLAY Alpha 2.1 #TU5
UPDATE

Hey guys, here’s the URG update for this morning’s EA patch.
Two updates in 48 hours broke quite a few things.

To be clear: I did not speed up the gameplay. EA’s updates caused the issues, and I’ve fixed them in this release.
And as promised, I’ve reduced referee strictness.

✅ Reduced referee strictness
✅ Fixed issues broken by EA’s two updates within 48 hours
Smoother movements (++)
Compatibility updated for the latest EA patch
