Let's be real here: If any user on this website thinks that there is an agenda against him/her, that is even more uncalled for. Especially if the "criticism" was mostly out of help. Calling other users "modding mafia", or saying there is an attempt to make this mod look bad, is just ridiculous. Also as you can see I am a member of this Forum for 16 years (and reading this forum for almost 20 years) and as far as I can remember modders always helped each other and had no bad intentions toward each other. That's why I said that OP is the only one who makes him look bad.
But enough off topic.
Being real. Not that there's a "modding mafia" at all, or an agenda against anyone, but I've seen certain competitiveness and lack of appreciation for other's work by other modders. Ya know, the marketing thing of "my mod is the best, the others not", even when they might not completely solved the game's problems. And this happens specially with mods locked behind paywalls (yet not only), and to be honest, it's quite a pity.
In general, community is quite competitive in the sense of mods, and I can see why someone new might feel attacked (not saying he's right, though) when criticism knocks on the door, specially if they are criticising a gameplay that is not theirs.
Anyways, bad to the topic, mod looks nice in terms of movement. It's true that if nitpicking some small sliding can be seen, but is not excesive, and I think I can cope with it. Also, I'd need to se how it feels on the pad. Sadly I don't own FC26, and don't intend to own it for a while so... Besides that, would also need to see the mod from different camera angles, and see long plays, not only 1 min. As I say, movement and controls look quite amazing, but without an appropiate AI and positioning both by the CPU and the user team, it will only look good, but won't feel good, at least not on the big picture.
Again, micro is the first step, then a lot more things need to be worked upon. Positioning is probably the most important of it, since it's the weakest point of newer FC entries. Since FIFA 20, positioning, marking, and in general defensive awareness has been a chore. Not that it was THAT GOOD before, but the introduction of 1v1 defending quite destroyed the game. Now, once he works on that, that it seems he will do, we could have a very interesting gameplay.
Anyways, as a seasoned modder here,
@iljuventino , allow me an advice. You ain't gonna make a full football sim from night to next morning. Neither in a month. You're not the first one trying, and you'll only have flaws in the gameplay that must be polished. I'd wish I was wrong, but it is what it is. Fixing vanilla FC TAKES TIME, and trust me, there will be plenty of errors to correct. I tell you this, cause you come here promising a lot, and while I think you've made a great start, and probably eventually, you'll be able to get, if not there, very close to what you want if you persevere, it won't happen in your first version release. There are a ton of modders out there that promise a lot, and haven't been able to solve game flaws in a lot of time, being honest, I don't think you can either, or at least not so soon. So don't overpromise, specially with words, just go ahead and work on the game. Upload full matches so we can analyze as much as we can and guide you, and eventually, when criticism comes, accept it (yet be aware that maybe not everyone is able to cope with a full simulation gameplay) since most of cases it's only with the intention of helping you polish the game.
But really. Don't be anxious if you don't get what you want, don't be anxious if at the end someone finds flaws in your gameplay, cause eventually it'll happen. Just keep on working. You've made a great start, or so it seems. When I can buy FC 26, I might give a try to your mod, and tell you my experience, yet it won't happen, at least, till a couple of months.
Oh, and also... Be ready to Title Updates. They'll probably destroy a lot of the balance you might have achieved. It's normal, it'll happen. Just persevere. Your commitment to make a sim is really appreciated, at least on my side. Really wishing to see a whole match of your mod, and with a different camera angle, so I can see better what's happening in the pitch and I can guide you a bit better even if I don't have the game yet.
Keep on working, we've got your back! Love what you're trying!
