Was just on Sky Sports and Setanta News. He is a very intelligent man and guarantee that he will be able to understand and speak English by January.

I like him - so refreshing after having turds like Ericsson and McClaren as managers. He also shares the same birthday with me (June 18th). :)

thought he already spoke english..

anyway he's got the best cv of any england manager...

aslong as the press/england fans dont hound him out, I reckon he'll do very well...

Just watching now. I like Capello, he's what we've needed for a long time. I can't remember being this optimistic about an England coach!
 
great choice !!!but don't expect England to play some good football,but expect England to be really tough to beat :)now and bye bye the so called egos of the big stars!!
 
I don't think he is the right manager for England, although he certainly is a clever man...i'm afraid his style of play is against the nature of most English football players.
If he succeeds that would be a great achievement for both him and the English national team.
I hope he does fantastic because silverware for your national team would be fantastic for football...and it would be nice for the English fans too..

I agree that he doesn't play the sort of football that England is used to and English players, but I think that is a great thing.
I think he could well be the right man for the job and change the whole mentality of football in this country so there isn't a stuck 'English way', which has always been dour.
