Enough online players on PC?

So I didn't play Fifa last year (for PC at least), and was wondering if it's worth getting it on PC. Will filtering be a problem for example given the player count?
 
I could usually find players online within 3-5 levels of me in FIFA 11 in the early september of this year. Now, if you wanted to filter it by manual only or w/e else, then it could have been trickier. Not sure if there were more people playing online earlier in the year. I think this year, since FIFA is the same, a lot of people will move to PC. I'm one of them, played FIFA 11 on PS3 (with just a tiny bit on PC), but now I'm moving over to PC.
