Controlling Goalkeeper?

When using unassisted option in control settings I cant seem to control the goalkeeper for kick outs and throw he seems to be automatic. Why?

Manual GK is definitely out of the game this year, but I don't think you could control the keeper while using the fully manual option in 2008 either.

It's a shame. THEY JUST KEEP TAKING OUT FEATURES.

Next year they'll bring it back manual gk and take the referees out.
In 2011 we won't see the supporters from wide camera, as it would cause slowdowns on such obsolete hardware.

Man im once again really angry with konami, why the hell did they remove this feature?? makes absolutely no sense!!
