Choose kits - PES 2008

Is it possible? I have searched the forums but didnt find an answer to this but I recall seeing a comment that the feature isnt available.

Well, too bad because how the hell am I supposed to play like this:

What team is mine? I had to resort to using the radar more often than I care too.

I certainly hope this is patchable.
 
In the master league there is no way to choose kits. Konami should patch it if they care about us at all. There might be a patch made by someone here but i don't think it very likely since i would have thought it could be a large edit.

I normally dont rail game developers/publishers but this oversight makes me question the level of competence involved. Selecting kits should be an elementary component and is something that must have been experienced since football games began.

Ordinarily, beta testing the game should have revealed this even if it was overlooked during the design stages.

Disappointment, really, given the potential of the game.
 
I completely agree. It's an essential option to choose the kits. Hope this will be patched. So I played with Juventus against Siena, both teams in black and white. Thanks Konami for that funny "feature" :applause:
 
Its a horrendous ommission.
I understand that the only mode where you can select your kit is exhibition mode.
You really do have to wonder how they dropped a huge bollock like this one.

They must have compared pes6 to the new one and consciously thought... we don't need to choose kits, people will find it fun playing with 20 players (and 2 keepers) who look like they are on the same side.
 
i just played a game like this. i won 4:0, but thats not hte point. the point was taht i am colour blind and you actually have to think about who you're going to pass to. thanks to konami it takes me longer to make a pass and its impossible to play when i come up against a side with red shirt and white shorts. i'm f u c k e d.

our best bet is for juce to implement a option to change kits in ml mode =/..

konami really f u c k e d up here
 
You could always make a kit for your team that won't class with anyone, try yellow and pink and there's no problem.

It is a rediculous oversight and youd think it would be easy to patch as the code is there for the exhibition games.

yeh, but arsenal wouldnt be arsenal anymore lol. i might have to end up doing that sigh
 
Sometimes the game changes kits for you so there's no clash. EG I played a league between Man United, Liverpool and Arsenal to see if the kits would change, and when my United team were at home to Arsenal, Arsenal wore their white-maroon away strip, and when my team were away at Liverpool, they wore the black away kit while Pool wore their home shirt.

Nobody is saying that this happens all the time, its just so frigging annoying when it does happen to you.
Its something thats there in the programming in Exhibition mode but they've removed it for all the rest of the modes.
Its just a total cock-up.
Personally, i like a good contrast between my teams colours, light and dark makes it easier to identify your players but sometimes it does'nt even change kits if one team has pale blue (Lazio) and one dark blue (Sampdoria), bearing in mind that both teams play in white shorts and socks.
The simple question is 'Why,did they do it?'
The simple answer is 'Because they are clueless'.
After all, what good's a football game when you cant tell the teams apart?

i sent konami a nice, kind email asking if they were going to fix this, they replied with a robot email asking me to consult the manual because "its surely there".
first i sent this email, i tried to be nice..

this is absolutely disgraceful, they're not going to help us, then why should we even buy the game? honestly, if they're not going to bother, i dont give a damn anymore, its not even worth downloading the game for, let alone pay 18pounds for it. absolutely disgusted with konami

Are you insane? the manual does NOT help with this kind of problem, this is a GAME problem, which YOU made.
YOU took out the kit selection, and the manual is NO help in changing kits for master league.
This is absolutely ridiculous if you're not going to help customers with have paid good money for your product.

sorry to dig an old thread but this bug is really annoying me. I was england and I played 2 straight matches with my opponent and me wearing white!! Does konami really want us to strain our eyes?? or they want to train our instinct?? this is really a laughing stock. I don't even want to attempt ML with this stupid bug...Game crasher literally

and to think I already downloaded a patch, now with this bug, I think i'll just go back to football manager 2008 or perhaps even give fifa 2008 a shout...

and well another year of waiting...now I got to dig out pes6 from somewhere...
 
Well the good news is that the newest kitserver allows you to choose kits in all modes of the game BUT this is absolutely ridiculous that KONAMI is being saved and helped by outsider programmers....such as those who make kitserver....truly unforgivable KONAMI!!

I play with Arsenal, but i've only got slightly mized up with another team, you should have put D1 to be the premier league, then you wouldnt have a problem. Or slightly change your kit.

awesome! where can u get kitserver? not the beta one I saw on another thread but the vers before it
