As you all know that C.Ronaldo is now in the top list of the best players this time. And a few years back Ronaldo the Brazilian player was the star. But I'm asking you, that if someone asks you a question about Ronaldo. Who would you think it is. And when you mention C.Ronaldo do you say C.Roanldo or would you say Ronaldo?
 
If they asked me a question about Ronaldo, I would think it is C.Ronaldo as he is playing at the moment and has just one the award.

The other Ronaldo isn't playing at the moment - so I wouldn't think of him.
 
Ronaldo is out of the media, at least for his football :P... so when in context (english or european football) 'Ronaldo' refers to Cristiano.

Interesting fact, here in Brazil Ronaldo (fat) was always called Ronaldinho, and Ronaldinho(who's now at Milan), by Ronaldinho Gaúcho. Then at a press conference Ronaldo said he wanted to be called just Ronaldo, but the older nicknames are still used sometimes.
 
Now I just refer to him as Ronaldo due to the Brazillian not being in the spotlight so much. I shamefully refer to Brazillian Ronaldo as "Fat Ronaldo" so my mates know who im taking about.

Just to Clarify, Usually when someone says to me Ronaldo I know they are referring to C.Ronaldo.

I call him. Ronaldo, Ronnie, Ron. Cristiano, Christina(when he is being a sissy)

The Other...Big Ron, Real Ronaldo, Fat Ronaldo. Number 9 Ronaldo.
 
IMO should be Ronaldinho (Milan) Ronaldo (Man Utd) and Ronaldão (Free-agent)

...inho goes for small, ...ão for big

:D but they are all relative big if you think...

I never hear anyone in public call Cristiano by his full name (well, Cristiano Ronaldo, not CR dos Santos Aveiro) so I'd definitely think they were on about our bloke and not Fat Ron.

On the subject of Fat Ron. I know he's been seen fat as fuck and not really doing much since leaving Milan, but what is he up to at the moment? Training with a Brazilian club or just not bothering with football anymore?

I'd love to see him have a good run back in his own country, or maybe with PSV again in Holland, just to finish his career on a high note. The guy was unstoppable in his prime.
 
Thee Ronaldo. The best there was (not the best there is now as he is dossin around) but I reckon the best there ever will be in his prime. Shame all the media hype and countless injuries stopped him being ultimately the best player in the world of all time.

Although this being my opinion so try not to choke me for it :P
 
Cut the CR7, R9 thing... wasn't R10 enough? :P And a failure, i might add, as he's now R88. What's next? B7 --> B23 --> B75 (or whatever number he'll me Milan-wearing) ?
 
Not the defender, Ronaldo Guiaro, ex Atletico MG, Benfica and now at Ariss Saloniki ? or Ronaldo Maczinski at Rio Ave ??
 
I actually find it a sin to call him Fat Ronaldo, I prefer "THE" Ronaldo because I'll never forget how brilliant he was before his injury problems.
 
i think the media refeers to them this way
in south america:
Ronaldo(Corinthians) = Ronaldo
C. Ronaldo(Man Utd) = Cristiano Ronaldo

in europe:
Ronaldo(Corinthians) = Fat Ronnie(UK) :LMAO:
C. Ronaldo(Man Utd) = Ronaldo or Cunt(London, Liverpool) :LMAO:

Man utd one - Cristiano Ronaldo or Cristine (but never Ronaldo, it's only for the BrAzilian one)
Corinthians one - Ronaldo or Gronaldo (Gros = Fat)
Milan AC one - Ronaldinho or Ronnie
