Beckham passed over

Really sick of hearing about this more than the actual England squad. Times have changed, Becks is a great player but why reward him instead of the players like Lennon who have actually been playing week-in, week-out. Good bit of thinking by Mr.Capello.
 
He's still the only player we have who actually cares about playing for England.

He's still far more effective than Gerrard, Lennon, and whoever else might play in the midfield.

He should still be in the squad. He's been training enough to keep fit surely?

I really rate Lennon personally.

Lennon --- Gerrard --- Hargreaves --- J.Cole

That is some midfield if the manager can get them playing together.

And no Kevin Nolan again! He's the most underrated player in the Premiership.
 
Why's Gerrard being in there:shock: I was one of the people that thought he should have got the captaincy after Becks but he hasnt done shit all for England and especially for Liverpool as well recently..my four would be

Lennon--Hargreaves--Barry--J.Cole
 
I wanna see him make his 100th cap, at least just so it's no longer an issue and there won't be media coverage debating whether or not he'll make it to 100.

Kevin Nolan is the most overrated player in the prem, even the Bolton fans think he's shit!

Any how think he should play just for the sheer quality of his crosses , he could put a ball on a flies head!!
 
The only reason Becks still should be in the squad is simply because he's the only one that gives to shits when playing for the national side which is very sad indeed:(
 
Whilst I don't think Nolan is shit, I agree that he is overrated and shouldn't be in the England squad.
Maybe a couple of years ago he could have been given a chance.
 
Beckham hasn't played competitive football in 3 months on that basis alone how can anyone expect him to be included? What kind of a message would that send to the players who are playing regualt football and playing well.

I'm so glad Capello is the boss now, the players are going to fear losing their place in the team for a change.

If Beckham was picked the game would have testimonial all over it in my eyes.
