Battlefield 2042 Frame Rates Issues Won't Be Fixed In Time For Launch
EA DICE will reportedly be unable to fix Battlefield 2042's frame rate issues for PC prior to the game's launch in two weeks.​

Battlefield 2042 is set to arrive in less than two weeks and is certain to be one of the 2021 holiday season's most successful games. Yet PC gamers have some concerns after Battlefield 2042's beta testing revealed performance issues in the online multiplayer shooter. Specifically, Battlefield 2042 players described frustratingly low frame rates and frequent drops across a spectrum of settings and hardware configurations. While EA DICE has acknowledged these issues, it seems it'll be unable to solve them prior to Battlefield 2042's launch.

They might as well hold it back.
PC Version had a lot of issues during the technical test and the PS5/XBX version is shipping without Ray Tracing to fix performance issues.
I wouldn't worry about it anyway the game was a turd.
 
Few rounds i played. Portal is awesome! Bed time now.

Portal really brings back some good memories. Main game feels a bit unfinished. Will go deeper this weekend…

Did you look at that game at the bottom of the menu called viva something or other? I never had time to check it out
 
Nowhere near as buggy as I thought it was going to be but my god I just keep dieing and dieing over and over again and I'm sure it's all pc nerds. Is there anyway you can just play console users.

…and i am happy with the quick matchmaking here. Not 30 secs and I’m in.
While I wait for the countdown to hit zero, I tinker with the loadouts and specialists, most of the time getting kicked out of those menus while setting up stuff. :)
Last night, for the first time, I was riding the hovercraft with a guy who knows how to play and it was a lot of fun! :APPLAUD: Cant wait to hit the battlefield with 3 other guys knowing what they do.
 
The stupidest thing ever to stop cross gen play, the option is actually in the game but it won't let you select it. You've got to change it in the Xbox settings but it is better not playing PC nerds oh and playstation retards.

PC version asks you on startup if you want to do crossplay.
I selected yes, as it will give me loads of easy kills.

On PS it’s greyed out once you set it up first time. When I restart the game it’s not greyed out and i can turn it off or on. When I want to change that again, I just restart the game and switch the setting. No clue how this is working on Xbox.

Yeah it's just stupid on Xbox.
 
Hows this game compared to previous BF? didnt really get into BF5, really liked BF1 and the two befor ethat (didnt play hardline).
Im actually not looking for som hardcore simulation, just a mix arcade/realistic. Should I just install BF4/BF1 and keep Titanfall 2?

Tried Halo, but I dont know.. hasnt really grasped me.

If you search for an mix off arcade and realism I can recommend you Insurgency Sandstorm. It is more realistic then BF 2042 and more arcade then HLL.
