Assassin's Creed Black Flag: Resynced - 9th July 2026 PC/Consoles

Might actually get around to playing it this time.
As bought a dodgy key for it last time and the game was completely in Russian and never repurchased.

Shame the game is full priced for a remaster.

AFAIK it's a fair bit more than just a remaster though, the video certainly implies that, and supposedly they took out the modern parts which is worth the entry price alone for me! ;)

Primarily I'm just a bit disappointed it's not an RPG akin to Origins/Valhalla/Odyssey as they're my personal preference.

Ubisoft is sinking down the drain for sometime and they're desperate on making money from remasters involving successful AC games from their past. In this particular case could work if they'll not go any further and if they'll just maintain its original game format regarding missions, structure and so on. Of course, this will not guarantee their success knowing that on long term they're not capable of creating new quality games but just so called mehh "quadruple AAAA" titles...

After sinking in 100 plus hours doing the same crap over and over again on AC Odessey im never touching an AC game again
I know this is different, still never again

I am too very well understand "what's are you talking about", it's simply was "bad decision of game design", like the same one in game Mafia 3, when you are doing the same things in missions again and again and no any purpose and joy from this, only the method to make game longer from developers.

Exactl

Exactly so, its so boring in the end

dude...
i had a 100 and almost got PTSD
are you ok?

LOL well both games have been played more than once, not necessarily to completion but the first time I played Odyssey I stopped at maybe 70% of the main story, I played it again just now from the start and there's like 2 or 3 huge DLCs since I last played it, on top of the main story, didn't complete it to 100% but I did complete all story and side quests and everything, took a while! :)

Holy crap, that's impressive. :D
I just checked my Xbox app: I’ve played 157 hours of Odyssey, 133 hours of Valhalla, and 126 hours of Shadows. It’s pretty repetitive, of course, and I already mentioned in another thread that I lost the plot in Shadows a long time ago (but completed the story in the meantime) . I tried out “Dragon’s Dogma 2” over the last few days, but after a couple of hours, it just didn’t grab me.
So right now, “Shadows” works well for me when I have an hour or two to play before bed: switch off my brain, check off a few markers on the map, and take out 10 to 200 enemies.

I will surely buy Black Flag as I like the setting and haven't played it when it came out.

I didn't really get into Shadows, for now my Ubisoft+ has lapsed as there was no discount unlike last year so we'll see what happens in July.

As for Ubisoft's games, for me they're the gaming equivalent of a Macdonalds, there's a time and a place for comfort food and there's a time and place for Kobe Beef (Red Dead Redemption 2 et al).
