ARGH!!! Installation nightmare!!

I dont think anybody reading this post actually understands how f**king mental i feel. Dunno if anyones had this problem but... here goes.
1. I buy the game and take it home.

2. I attempt to install.

3. After 2 hours it has not installed :-k

4. After a further 30 mins it is still in the same place (copying cs img) ](*,)

5. Give up on doing that and extract files from the cd into folder.

6. Place files where they are meant to be (which takes long, thought not as long as installation)

7. do installation but select to install only english text and commentary so that it recognises that i already have these files in my program files

8. Click shortcut and it works WOOPEEE!!\\:o/
(for some reason its on highest resolution and high detail so framerate is crap and my pad config is off)

9. Change to my settings and retry

10. 'Pro evolution soccer 2008 is already running'
and nothing happens THOUGH I CLICKED ONCE AND IT WAS NOT ALREADY RUNNING. try it again, same prob, revert back to old settings same prob, open task manager and i see it is not running as an application but still as a process. Attempt to end process, no deal! Log off and try it all again, guess what SAME PROBLEM

Never seen that problem before mate, wouldn't have a clue. Post your system specs and we might have more of an idea.

If it's any consolation, the game is shit this year anyway.

Ah bloody hell mate, just managed to get it working a few mins ago. But for some reasons its not working off the disc, i have to use a crack. Might as well sell the shite back to gamestation, cos the crack only works when the disc isnt in the drive. For some reason wen it was in the drive it started a system process telling the pc that pro evo was running when it really wernt. Dunno if its of any use but ive got

pentium iv 3.2ghz
2gb ram
shite graphics card bt for some reason isnt too bad: nvidia 7600 256mb
