Hey everyone! Last night i was messing around with my graphics card settings in Catalyst Control Panel and found a way to get rid of jagged lines and edges!!

All you have to do is turn off anti-aliasing in your graphics card control panel so PES 2009 can do the anti-aliasing instead!

For ATI users you can turn off anti-aliasing by ticking "Use application settings" in the 3D Anti-aliasing section.

I'm not sure if many people know this but you do now and hopefully it makes a difference.

I was going to upload some screenshots but just can't be bothered now..

EDIT: BTW i have an ATI HD3870

does PES 2009 automatically apply anti-aliasing? or do I have to tweak an option of setting.exe?

It does it automatically...i know, it suprised me as well!!

I believe PES 2008 didn't automatically apply anti-aliasing but PES 2009 does. :APPLAUD:

yep, it works also for me. But does this also happens with 1.00 version?
i thought i had tried everything!

Anti-Aliasing problems????:BLINK: xAxAXa There are no problems with this thing ... if you have even a little knowledge and experience with the usage of WIN you will be able to add anti-aliasing to pes09

Actually Pes 09 and all Pes's before that do not support Anti Aliasing, i remember Konami saying something about it. But with ATI users at least, you seem to get less jaggies with it disabled.

Bro, can you post your 3D setting for 8800 GT ?? :D
I still have problems with the setting for PES2009, while playing I can see some horisontal band moving from top of the screen, which is very anoying. Sometimes, some lag also occur...

Please..!!
I've tried to do several tweaks, but still no success.

The horizontal band is the framerate getting out of sync. Turn vsync on in the PES settings or via your graphics card control panel.

never ever take of anti aliasing for any application if you have nvidia card for example gigabyte 8800gt, anti aliasing removes the edges that cause delay

anti-aliasing smooths out edges which CAUSES delay as the Gfx card has to work out how much to blur\smooth each frame

well well not with the g92 it actually increases speed in aps

your talkin about antrisoptic thingo that puts pressure

in soccer games when the game is vertical there is better gameplay

Huh?? Why should you never take OFF anti-aliasing?? If anything you should always give the control to the applications to smooth out jaggies. It is often due to conflicts between GPU control panel settings and application preferences that cause crashes and unstable peformance. Delay is caused when anti-aliasing is turned ON through your GPU as more work needs to be done to smooth out the pixellations.

Could anyone take a SS with AA working in Edit mode etc? Im at work and cant test this out yet, so it would be much appreciated :D
