Anth’s FIFA 16 Mods

I don't expect anyone will have an answer to this, but... I'm pretty desperate.

I've reinstalled FIFA 16, again - with @Anth James's physics mods (via Cheat Engine), again - because it's still the best football game ever made, IMO.

However, I'm on a new PC compared to the last time I played - with Windows 11 (which I think is the issue), plus an Intel CPU rather than AMD, and a Geforce RTX 4070 rather than Radeon RX590.

Whenever I enable Cheat Engine and try to play a game, it constantly freezes the entire PC (even blocking CTRL+ALT+DEL from working), and sometimes hard-crashes it.

I've tried changing every setting I can think of, but as soon as Cheat Engine is active, the PC starts freezing.

Has anyone else got FIFA 16 and Cheat Engine working on Windows 11?

I've used it for a while on windows 11 and had zero issues.

Running without issues on my win 11 Installation. Intel i9 and Nvidia RTX GPU.
Same advice as @naczelnik5 here. The newest CE Version which should be 7.6. are not running well with every older build. 7.3 should be good for the Physics Mod. No promises. But worth a try. Here are the official github release site if you wanna check it.

I had a similar problem with FIFA 14 on an Ultra 7 and I only managed to solve (or, actually, avoid) it by disabling the e-cores in the BIOS settings. This may be worth a try!

Edit: nevermind, I see that many suggested to downgrade CE: trying that before fiddling with the BIOS settings would be absolutely more sensible.

Good evening, everyone. Please help me to solve the problem with gameplay. When I have speedhack enabled, the match ends in 87 minutes. I specifically disabled speedhack and everything worked correctly. Is there any way to solve this problem? Thanks in advance!

What graphics settings do you guys use? I'm at 1080p with uncapped FPS on a 1650Ti and it looks decent but I'm getting screen tearing, tried capping it to 60fps in Nvidia control panel but the tearing/aliasing on the halfway line looks worse

I don't know if you can do the same in FIFA 16. Crabshank said on his discord server that this game is deeply obscured and it is harder to get access to the values/strings. So we will have to wait for the breakthrough.
Some time ago I put some lines in RNA.ini and cl.ini I did this with the Fifa 16 goalnets.

I tried to back to the normal goalnet deleting some ini files in FIFA16 mais folder, but this weird net didn't go away. After regenerate the Fifa, a lot of crashs happened, so, I uninstalled the game and installed again. After that, I couldn't reproduce anymore that weird net.
I discovered the reason of the crashes after regenerate the game was the two goalpost.rx3 files in the goalnet folder.
My greatest mistakes in this case was not to keep the files.cl.ini, RNA. Ini and the goalpost.rx3.

PS: when I play with the weird net, the game only reads the specific goalnets texture files. Is that the reason why has not texture in the video's goalnet.

Now, I found another thing changing the rna.ini
THE SHAKING GOALPOST!

It's happened when I put "ENABLE_PHYSICSNETS=1" in RNA.ini

But yesterday, I realized that this line was not the only one who make the goalpost shake.
But I didn't find what other line combined with it made this shaking goalpost.
I delete the down side of RNA lines, the goalpost still shake. I delete all lines, the shake stop.
I delete the upper side of the lines, the goalpost back to shake.
In every test, I keep "ENABLE_PHYSICSNETS=1' in the file.

I guess, to make any change in goalnet is necessary a combo of lines, not only one.

If I set the speed to 0.90 with enable speed hack
I see that everything plays in jerks and crashes
Strange, I just tried the same thing and the game was a bit jerky (which wasn't the case before)
I used to play with 1.00 exe and now I'm playing with 1.07 (with no speed hack, slow game speed)
Maybe that has something to do with it.
Or maybe it's a Windows 11 thing.. It's been a bit buggy lately with some FIFA games..

The exact same thing happens to me, in fact FIFA leaves me with constant errors for several days, I was never able to try the physics mod
Did you try other Cheat engine Versions? Windows Defender will block the installation when you first try to install another version. The cheat engine exe must be excluded from win defender or nothing works.

I'm new to Fifa 16 (I come from pes5/we9le). I decided to give it a shot, as I read several enthusiastic takes about it. To be more specific, I tried it with Anth's ball physics. Furthermore, I sometimes tried to use El Pajaro/Ciais gameplay modifications.
The gameplay is truly great! The game is very balanced and realistic. However, one specific thing was a big let down to me: except for the speed stat, I can't tell the difference between players. It's far, far less clear than on older pes, such as ps2 ones or even pes13. I don't know if it is only my impression (as I am just a beginner on this game) or this is the objective truth. I'd like to hear other opinions about it

Sad to read that, really. But for me and others it´s working. Can have to do with other things installed on your PC. If you don´t feel save with cheat engine installation than it´s better to leave it.
