A Couple Of Things .. PES6 - PES2008
1. I see that when you bring a defender out up the wing a couple of yards in from the sideline just inside his own half or just over the halfway line if he has a team mate 10-12yrds up the line from him you press pass or through ball the defender turns and angles out towards the sideline and side foots the ball out for a throw to the cpu team.
This has been in PES since I started playing it on the PC in PES3, when people say Konami are correct in keeping the core engine its things like this that makes you see in doing so they can't move the game on.
2. Player taking a touch or control of the ball 3 or so yards from the sideline and byline, they run it out for a throw or corner.
Was watching EA talking about Madden and how fans complained that they couldn't stop there player on the sideline to Mark the catch, the dev team said it was a problem with the animation that they couldn't break that animation and that is why the players of the game could not stop the players on of just before the sidelines.
They fixed it for this year
These are only 2 of the "quirks flaws" of the PS2 game engine and like others in the game while not totally killing the game can't be addressed with this current game engine.
