1628 error thread (1.2 patch installation)

Glad i'm not the only one getting this but no one seems to know the answer so i thought it needed it own thread

My Experience...

Windows XP (gaming build with many windows services turned off)
Local Drive = E
1.1 Patch = Installs fine
Tried removing PES 2009 and all associated folders and files before reinstalling and still get the same error.

I tried installing in on my main drive which has all services on and is on C and it installs.

Anyone esle who is getting this, what set ups have you got? There must be a common denominator here...

Thanks I try when I'm home. I have also found some advice for the same error on a previous version of pes where you have to have the CD in your disc drive when you install, although I have I have the cd autorun service turned off so I'll try turning this back on and trying that

I have a prob with this patch too every time I go to click update the patch freezes and does not respond any ideas? Please help this is wrecking my head
